Amirhossein is a PhD researcher at the Data Lab for Social Good (DL4SG), Cardiff Business School. His PhD research focuses on how to keep hospitals, GP surgeries, and care services running when floods and rising sea levels get in the way. To answer it, he utilizes machine learning, natural language processing, forecasting, computer vision, and operations research. Before Cardiff, he spent several years applying computer vision and large language models to construction safety. He is supervised by Prof. Bahman Rostami-Tabar.
